Social Security Cost of Living

I have received my cost of living notice from Social Security. It's been calculated at 2.3 %. I don't guess groceries, gasoline, medical and heating were included. My figures range from 6% to 10%. Of course, I use 6th grade percentages, not rip off accounting numbers from SSA.
